Something is wrong with my chimney, what service do I need?
We always recommend starting with a chimney sweep. Many things can go wrong within a chimney just because it is dirty. At the time of your chimney sweep, your technician will inspect and evaluate your chimney and let you know what is going on inside of your system. Even if we cannot fix the problem, we can certainly refer you to someone who we think can help.
How long will the appointment take?
Depending on how dirty your system is, the service can take anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour and a half. Much of the service is spent setting up in order to protect your home from the mess that happens when you sweep a chimney. We use a large, noisy vacuum with several filters to control the dust along with tarps so that our equipment doesn’t touch your belongings.
